Alexander Smith, PsyD, received his doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon. During his education and training he focused primarily on children and adolescents, completing his internship at Child and Adolescent Behavioral Health and additional training at St. Mary’s Home for Boys and Morrison Child and Family Services. Alex has experience treating a range of difficulties including trauma, depression, anxiety, behavioral disorders, ADHD, parenting difficulties, and LGBT+ concerns in both individual and family settings. Dr. Smith also provides comprehensive psychological/neuropsychological evaluations. In his practice, he utilizes a range of cognitive-behavioral and acceptance/mindfulness based approaches such as ACT and Trauma-Focused CBT.
