Emily Morgan, Ph.D, Psychologist earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology at Western Michigan University, and completed her internship and two years of postdoctoral fellowship at the Munroe-Meyer Institute in Omaha, Nebraska. After hopping around the Midwest, Dr. Morgan decided head out to the Pacific Northwest to join the Children’s Program. While in Nebraska, Dr. Morgan trained at a specialty pediatric sleep clinic, where she gained a passion for working with clients struggling with sleep issues. She loves working with all ages (infancy to adolescence) to tackle sleep concerns. She enjoys working with parents on managing challenging childhood behaviors, and with adolescents who struggle with anxiety and depression. Further, she has a deep interest in working with children, teens, and families to navigate challenges that all too often accompany sexual orientation and gender identity. She takes a behavioral approach to treatment, and uses components from interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Behavioral Activation, Habit Reversal Training, Exposure and Response Prevention, and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy to help her clients learn skills to live a rich and fulfilling life.
