Neela Karikehalli, Psy.D. received her doctorate in psychology from Rutgers University. She completed her predoctoral APA Accredited internship at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and her postdoctoral fellowship at Northwell Health in New York City, where she worked within outpatient, partial hospital, and inpatient settings. She most recently worked as a staff psychologist at a city hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she developed a Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) track and provided supervision and didactics to interns and fellows.

Dr. Karikehalli strives to provide high quality evidence-based treatment for youth and families. Her areas of interest include working with youth who have emotional dysregulation difficulties utilizing DBT. She additionally enjoys working with children and families affected by trauma using Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
