Casey Wixson

Casey Wixson, PsyD, Psychologist received his doctorate in clinical psychology, with emphasis in child and family practice, from Pacific University in Portland, OR. He has specialty training in assessment and intervention of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders through Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) and The Watson Institute (Pennsylvania). He also has extensive training in intensive behavioral intervention (ABA) and pivotal response training (PRT), as well as certifications in Chronic Disease Self-Management and Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Other areas of interest include: noncompliance, anxiety, depression, and assessment of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Casey's approach to assessment and intervention is family and systems oriented, emphasizing education and positive interactions. He works from behavioral and cognitive-behavioral perspectives.
