Nagel Flores, MS

Nagel Flores, M.S., is a doctoral practicum student specializing in child clinical psychology at Pacific University. His experiences include teaching as an elementary teacher and serving as a school counselor. This informs his understanding of a child’s academic, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs. His current clinical work emphasizes supporting children and families using evidence-based practices with an emphasis on cultural responsiveness. Nagel hopes to expand his professional career by conducting psychological assessments while continuing to contribute to university teaching, professional development, and supervisory roles. He values collaborating with caregivers, schools, and other professionals to understand the factors influencing a child’s behavior across settings. Nagel brings a patient, thoughtful, and grounded presence into his clinical work and enjoys incorporating developmentally appropriate, play-based strategies into sessions.
