Evaluations
Getting Started
We conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine if a child meets the criteria for an official diagnosis.
Common Diagnosis Outcomes
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Developmental Delay/Intellectual Disability
- Other specific learning disorders
All evaluations begin with a consultation for parents. During this telehealth appointment, a psychologist will gather critical information on the scope and nature of your concerns, to better get to know your child. Based on this conversation, we will then schedule time for your child to come into the clinic for one or more testing appointments.
Our intake specialists work with our clinicians to see if we have an available provider who can perform the necessary evaluations. To get started, please submit a new client inquiry.
Reporting Conclusions
A thorough evaluation involves more than just testing your child; it is a collaborative process that requires information from a child’s teachers and you, their parent/caregiver.
Our clinicians strive to provide you with a report in a timely fashion, but a complete report requires that everyone return all questionnaires given.
Should you request a report before all parties outside our clinic have returned relevant questionnaires/information, professional ethics & standards require your clinician to note this in the report.
Some diagnoses (such as ADHD) cannot be provided without receiving corroborating information from both home and school environments. As such, the receipt of all rating scales/questionnaires from all informants is a necessary and essential component of a completed evaluation report.
