Bree Whittaker, M.A., is a third-year doctoral student in the PsyD program at George Fox University. She earned her Master’s in Clinical Psychology from George Fox in 2026 and completed her Bachelor of Arts at the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota, studying psychology. Bree’s current training focuses on providing both psychological assessments and therapeutic services. Bree’s prior experience working with children ranges across multiple settings, including residential treatment centers, crisis intervention, and outpatient services. Most recently, Bree trained with a culturally specific group practice, working with adolescents and teens in a school-based setting and using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with a focus on trauma-focused interventions.
Bree is passionate about increasing access to culturally competent, equitable mental health care. Her therapeutic approach is warm, relational, and grounded in psychodynamic and person-centered therapy, with mindfulness practices that honor and respect all identities and lived experiences. Outside of the clinic, Bree enjoys dancing, coaching, and spending time with friends and family.
