
Conner McClure
Practicum Student, M.A
Conner is a second-year master’s practicum student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Oregon State University. He also holds a master’s degree in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education from Portland State University and brings extensive experience working with children across a variety of settings.
With over twelve years of experience as an Early Intervention home visitor, Conner specializes in parent coaching and supporting families in fostering their children’s development. He takes a strengths-based, holistic approach to counseling, considering each individual within the context of their environment and relationships.
Conner has received training in multiple counseling modalities through OSU, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy. He has a particular interest in play therapy and values the active involvement of caregivers in the therapeutic process.
Outside of his professional work, Conner enjoys staying active through running, painting, and working on garden projects.
