Hiba is a pre-doctoral psychology intern specializing in clinical psychology with a child and adolescent emphasis through Pacific University. Through her training, Hiba has worked at the Pacific Psychology & Comprehensive Health Clinic where she provided evaluation and individual therapy for children, adolescents, and young adults from diverse backgrounds. Hiba has additionally trained at OHSU’s Child Development and Rehabilitation Center in both the Diagnostic Intake and Anxiety Treatment Clinics. At these sites, she provided evidence-based treatments, including ERP, CBT, and TF-CBT for a variety of anxiety-related disorders, such as generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety, separation anxiety, specific phobias, and somatic issues. Further, Hiba has trained and later worked as a technician at Children’s Program, conducting psychological evaluations (e.g., academic, cognitive, ODHS) for children and adolescents, helping them receive the necessary services, treatment, and assistance. Hiba integrates various theoretical frameworks to address the evolving needs of children and families. She emphasizes building a strong therapeutic alliance and staying current with evidence-based practices to foster emotional growth and behavioral change. Hiba works collaboratively with youth and their families to understand and support each child’s unique needs.
