Psychologist, Ph.D
Hiroko Mullner, Ph.D., NCSP, is a licensed psychologist and nationally certified school psychologist. She earned her doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Mullner has extensive experience working with children and adolescents in both public school systems and clinical settings, including non-profit organizations and inpatient psychiatric hospitals. Her clinical focus is on the assessment and diagnosis of neurodevelopmental and mood disorders in children as young as two years old, including autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), intellectual disabilities, depression, and anxiety.
Born and raised in Japan, Dr. Mullner is a native Japanese speaker and brings a bicultural perspective to her work. She is deeply committed to social justice and values the richness of diversity within the community. She strives to provide individualized, culturally sensitive care to every child and family she serves. Drawing from her own experience as a bilingual, bicultural professional, she is especially attuned to the psychological challenges related to acculturation, identity development, and cultural adjustment, and supports families navigating these transitions with empathy and insight.
