Marjan Khanjan

Psychologist, Psy.D

Dr. Khanjan (Dr. K), received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Argosy University in Orange County, CA. She completed her post-doctoral internship at Western Youth Services in Mission Viejo, CA where she worked with children, adolescents and their families in a community mental health clinic. She later pursued further studies in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Florida Institute of Technology. She enjoys working with children and adolescents of various ages but primarily ages 0-12. Dr. K has experience treating anxiety, depression, behavioral and/or emotional dysregulation, stress management, behavioral non-compliance, ADHD, autism disorders, parent-child interactions, bullying, social struggles, grief and loss and parental stress. Dr. K offers individual, family and play therapy, employing a range of treatment approaches within a developmental psychopathology framework. She incorporates evidence-based practices, including behavioral and cognitive modalities, to tailor treatment to each client’s specific needs.

When Dr. K is not at work, she enjoys spending time at home with her family, which includes her four children and a variety of farm animals she loves to care for.
