Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) is a parents-only, evidence-based treatment of childhood anxiety with an emphasis on promoting child confidence and coping with anxiety through making systematic and sustainable changes in parental actions and child-parent interaction patterns. You will learn how to best manage child discomfort, increase giving of effective supports to your child, and choose alternative methods for responding to anxious distress to decrease family stress levels. Click here to read an article in The Atlantic that reports on research about SPACE.

Spring 2026 SPACE Group (Virtual – Hosted on Zoom)

For parents of children in elementary & middle school

Mondays, 10:30am-12pm
April 13 – June 1, 2026 (no class on May 4 or 25)

Cost – $575.00/family (not insurance billable) (Scholarship funds for fall 2025 have all been allocated as of 9/26). 

PLEASE NOTE: Although this group will be held virtually via Zoom, due to clinicians’ licensure restrictions, participation is only available to permanent residents of the state of Oregon.
