Middle School Girls Thriving with ADHD: A Skills & Support Group

Mar 13, 2026

If your daughter is creative, thoughtful, and capable but gets overwhelmed, stuck, distracted, or hard on herself, she’s not alone! ADHD in girls often shows up as perfectionism, emotional intensity, procrastination, or feeling like everyone else got the “how to do school” manual. This small-group program is designed specifically for middle school girls to better understand their ADHD brains and build practical executive functioning skills in a supportive, empowering environment.
Across these interactive sessions, participants will:
  • Learn how to plan and manage their time
  • Figure out how to push through when they feel stuck
  • Tackle distractions (without giving up everything fun)
  • Cope with stress and anxiety
  • Practice self-compassion instead of self-criticism

Each session combines evidence-informed psychoeducation with hands-on activities, creative exercises, real-life planning practice, group discussion, and mindfulness tools.

Facilitated by Fionn Fortune, MA (Psychology Intern)
