Reduced / Alternative Fee Services
At Children’s Program, we are committed to helping everyone in our community access high-quality mental health services. We understand the high cost of mental health care when paying out-of-pocket for services. Therefore, we offer several reduced/alternative cost services, provided by our licensed clinicians, postdoctoral fellows, and predoctoral trainees.
Evaluation and Therapy Services
Our postdoctoral fellows and predoctoral trainees conduct evaluations and offer therapy at a lower rate than our licensed clinicians. All of our providers-in-training receive intensive supervision by a licensed clinician. To request these services, please fill out our new client inquiry form and indicate that you are open to working with a provider-in-training.
Building on Our Skills Training (BOOST)
Our predoctoral trainees offer an in-person program called Building on Our Skills Training (BOOST), to help children cope with a variety of behavioral and mental health challenges, including anxiety, emotional regulation, social skills lags, anger outbursts and low frustration tolerance. BOOST sessions are designed around a set curriculum, and are not open-ended individual therapy.
Groups and Classes
We offer a number of in-person and virtual groups/classes throughout the year for both parents and children. All of our groups and classes offer a limited number of scholarship spots each round. Some of our classes, such as Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) caregiver support groups, are free for CareOregon members.
Virtual Learning Platform
At Learn.ChildrensProgram.com, we offer a number of self-paced virtual learning programs covering a range of topics from managing children’s emotional outbursts to improving their attention skills. We strive to keep these programs as affordable as possible, and offer them free of cost for CareOregon members.
