Alyssa Springstead Knutz

Alyssa is a dedicated practicum student from George Fox University’s Clinical Psychology
program (Psy.D.). In May of 2023, she successfully earned her Master’s degree in clinical
psychology. Alyssa has had the privilege of gaining valuable experience in delivering
interpersonal and behavioral therapy, primarily within a primary care setting. She also possesses a substantial work history, having contributed significantly to the youth development programs of 4H and The Boys & Girls Club. Alyssa places a strong emphasis on guiding individuals in their pursuit of holistic well-being, emphasizing the importance of incorporating their unique cultural backgrounds into the therapeutic process. Her approach to mental health care is grounded in the belief that fostering lifelong habits aligned with each person’s individuality is crucial. Alyssa’s academic journey has equipped her with the skills to connect with diverse populations and establish rapport effectively. She enjoys assessing youth within cognitive, achievement, personality, and behavioral areas, to develop evidence-based intervention strategies for individuals seeking mental health support.
