Josh Tiller-Ormord

Josh is a psychologist resident who received their doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Palo Alto University. They completed an APA-accredited internship at the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center at Oregon Health and Science University focusing on youth with special health needs such as oncology survivors. Josh’s predoctoral experience includes treating medically complex youth in an integrated healthcare setting and providing short-term counseling to children in an elementary school. They also have experience working with LGBTQ+ adolescents and young adults that includes increasing access to gender affirming medical care. Josh is a published author regarding pediatric gender affirming care and continues to pursue research in this field. Josh aims to provide an open and affirming clinical space where individuals feel heard, respected, and assisted. For Josh, a critical component of care is empowering families to choose which skills and tools work best for them in their context. Josh utilizes evidence-based therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as frameworks to provide individualized and tailored care to families.
